  • Re-route Around The Failed Water Pipe. This is the preferred slab leak repair option Leak Star uses. We recommend simply abandoing the failing water line and rerouting around it. Often a water line that leaks once will usually leak again. Copper pipe failure is quite common as pipes are eroded from the inside by chemicals meant to protect our water supply. A re-route will require some holes to run new water lines to. The old water pipe will be abandoned and capped off. After we have made the slab leak repair, you will have a few holes in the drywall to repair and some touchup paint. We can recommend some great contractors to assist you with this final touchup to bring your home or business to it beautiful condition.
  • Complete Water Line Repipe. Sometimes a home or business will experience one leak after another requiring one slab leak repair after another. Or an overhead pipe may fail flooding your home. In that case it just makes more sense and will save you financially in the long run to just replace all of the water lines by doing a complete re-route of all of the water lines. Again damages will be similar to a single line reroute only there will be more of the cuts into the drywall. Usually, unless you chose to move out while the work is done your can stay in your home or continue business. We will keep the construction dust and noise to a minimum. It can take 3-5 days depending on the size of your home or business.
