Repiping Service Reviews in Oceanside
"We had questionable slab leak from having warm/hot spots on our travertine floor, my husband called Leak Star on a Monday at 7AM and was provided an estimated quote over the phone. We already knew the price range after speaking with neighbors. Timo who answered the phone came out by 9AM that same day. "After having a slab leak, I called this company. They arrived within an hour, detected the leak, fixed it super fast. One thing I really appreciated was the courtesy and honesty. That's hard to find, Timo didn't try to scam me or my insurance company. The repipe was such a minimal interruption that I couldn't believe it was already complete. I will definitely recommend them to friends." Repiping Service Oceanside 760-458-8958Whether new or older, all homes are suseptible to water leaks. It may be time for a repiping service in Oceanside. Copper pipe leaks are usally the culprit. In older homes over the years copper just corrodes and thins from the inside out. For newer homes this process is accelerated by the chemicals added to our municipal water supply. These chemicals interact with the copper piping causing pitting leading to tiny but damaging pinhole leaks.
If you suspect you have a water leak, first off give us a call at Leak Star. We have decades of experience in all phases of plumbing. Very important when it comes to your slab leak detection or any other leak detection. There are two options when repiping or rerouting. A single line reroute is usually the replacement of a single water line. The leaking pipe is disabled completely. A repipe is generalyy used to describe replacing all of the water lines in the home. In the same way, all of the old water lines are abandoned and new ones are installed. New water lines are connected to all water fixtures. What does a repipe service cost cost compared to a single line reroute service? Prices will vary. You can expect somewhere between $1850-$2250. Here at Leak Star Advanced Leak Detection we charge $2250 for a single water line reroute (as of the time of this writing). Depending on the size of your home, the price could increase. We also provide leak detection in Oceanside and the surrounding areas. If we do your leak detection with a typical cost of $350 and we do your repiping or reroute service, your leak detection is included. So your cost when using our repiping service is still $2250 with the leak detection included. If you chose our repiping service for your whole house in order to avoid future water leaks, that starts at about $5000 for a small house. Of course the larger the house, the more the cost in time and money, pushing towards $7500-$8000. If you have had more than 2 water line leaks, repiping the whole house is probably a more cost effective way to go. More of those small copper pipe leaks will generally be in your future. How long will the repiping take? Normally, a single line reroute can be done within a day, barring unforseen problems. Even with all of the leak detection equipment we use, sometimes knowing exactly how the water lines were originally run is a puzzle and there can be 20-30 water lines running through your walls, ceiling and under the concrete slab in a smaller home. Still having the water leak repaired and water running by the end of the day is our goal every time. If you choose the whole house repiping service, you can expect a 2-3 days and up to a week or longer for larger homes. We highly recommend PEX pipe, and if you chose to stay in the house during the job, that is fine with us. Water lines will be run and after the immediate water line leak is repaired, water will not need to be turned off but for a short time at the end while all new water lines are connected to the main water source. That ususally takes a day, so you may need to make other arrangements during that time period. We strive to be as clean as possible, using barriers to minimize the spread of dust. What about repiping for under concrete slab leak? The thought of a slab leak probably makes yoou shudder with visions of a jackhapper in your living room, tearing up your stone or beautiful wood floor. Rest assured, that is not our first choice. In fact it is extremely rare to need to tear up floors. Generally a reroute around the slab leak through the walls is the best option and will create the least amount of damage. |
