Infrared cameras use thermography which detects fluctuations in temperature by detecting heat or the lack of heat, known as the thermal condition. A wet spot behind the wall from a slow leak may show up as being cooler than the surrounding air and will appear as blue or purple on the camera screen. A slab leak in the floor involving a hot water pipe will indicate heat displaying a red or yellow color. Some of this technology can actually give a temperature reading.

Cooler wet conditions behind walls or in ceilings make for good growing conditions for mold. These locations can often be found before mold becomes a serious problem. Even before mold is visible or you smell it.

While using our Infrared Camera, we will be able to see not only hidden plumbing water leaks, but also energy leaks from widows and doors, electrical wiring "hot spots". Even unseen pests that have made a home in your home can be seen. Unclean and destructive pests such as rats and mice.
